BFE Bacterial Filtration Efficiency Test

The Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) test is performed to determine the bacterial filtration efficiency of materials designed to protect against biological aerosols such as medical face masks, surgical gowns, caps and air filters. Efficiency is defined for different levels and the level is determined as a result of the test.

Sample Information:

A minimum of 10 samples are required for the BFE test. The finished product (mask) or flat material in the size of 10 × 10 cm should be sent.
